15/4/2011 Finally made it back for a new update. Sadly have been very remiss with that so far. Back in the pool now and loving it. Of course the hip doesn't like it too much but I am trying to exercise more to help that little glitch. Arthritis is a real pain at times. My what a sad start to this year we are having. So many disasters and right on our doorstep too. Luckily my family in Christchurch are all safe if somewhat shaken and broken. My grand-daughter Hazel calls them Wobblies! During the last earthquake she was asleep and was woken by her mother to sit under the door frame where her baby brother was as well........ comment: would you just look at the mess in my room, the wobbly has messed it all up. Hazel is only just 3 and has no worries normally about the state of her room. Kids eh? they make you laugh. I have since got a laptop and keep in touch with Skype every weekend we can. Get very worried when we don't hear from them now. Well better get on with some more catch ups and wish you all a very happy and safe Easter.

Gentle Reminder

Well it has been some time since I last posted and Daffy gave me a 'Gentle reminder' yesterday. Hadn't realised how long it had been.

Got very frustrated trying to post some photos from Picasa 3 and it wouldn't work so will need to try and do some from another tactical direction. Get very focused on my Facebook and forget there are other media out there to keep in touch. I will try to be more aware,I will try to be more aware.

Do you think if I repeat it often enough it will come true? Hmmm we will see.

Sad day for the Pike River families today as they begin the Coroner's inquest, so many of them feel there has been no closure and sadly that is true when you do not have a physical body to say goodbye to and bury.
Well as you can see thanks to Daffy's advice and help I have managed to load a couple of photos of my daughters wedding, beautiful day and very glad it all went well.
I shall return folks so watch this space.

December 2010

Well the last of 2010 has come and gone. What a busy time we had.

First I am frantically trying to put together 3 collections for return and delivery at the library before I finish my APNK training.
Whew did it and finished the modules needed before our daughter got married the week before Christmas.

Then 3 days later I had my hand operated on for a Trigger finger Pulley release. Quite a surprise that they didn't want me to go back to work for three weeks.

Then to top it all off my husband ended up virtually crippled and unable to walk with a bad knee.
It was swollen and inflamed twice the size. $60 odd dollars later the Dr says no work, keep it elevated and it may come right in two to three weeks.

So here we were I'm not supposed to drive unless I can do an emergency stop and he can't drive at all cause he can't bend his knee, sheesh!!!!

Thank goodness 2010 has gone and we look forward to a better 2011.

Our son and his family should arrive tomorrow, can't wait to see the grandkids again.

Have tried several times to upload photos for my Blog but I can't seem to get them added. Look for the possibilitity that I might just manage to do the impossible sometime in the near future.

I wish you all a fantastic 2011
